UCT New Students Registration

Undergraduate

If your application is successful, you’ll receive an offer letter with instructions on how to accept and proceed with registration.

Once you accept the offer, log in to your PeopleSoft student account and follow the online registration prompts, including course selection: https://studentsonline.uct.ac.za/psp/students/?cmd=login

Postgraduate

You are not an official UCT postgraduate student until you register. Keep in mind that there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach.

Upon acceptance, you’ll receive instructions on completing online registration and course enrolment.

Returning students typically register online through their PeopleSoft accounts during designated periods.

Each faculty has a different registration process with different deadlines. For information about the registration process as it applies to your faculty, click here.
