How to Cancel DUT Subject

Below are the steps on how to cancel a Subject(s) at the Durban University of Technology.

STEP 1:

To cancel a subject, you must complete the relevant application form (Form 17 – Form 20 -Change of Curriculum-Changes to Qualifications and Modules) which is available on the student portal.

OR

You may request the form from the relevant Faculty Office

STEP 2:

Complete the application form and submit the form to your respective Faculty Office for processing.

STEP 3:

You must provide the correct information for all the available fields before submitting the form

PLEASE NOTE

There is a strict deadline date apply for cancelling modules, check the Student Handbook (click here)) for the deadline dates.

Any student cancelling or de-registering after this date will be regarded as having failed that subject/programme and officially published results will be reflected accordingly.
