“In 1848 Mossel Bay became a town, in 1852 it became a Municipality, and in 2000 the Mossel Bay Municipality merged with smaller municipalities including Friemersheim, Great Brak River and Herbertsdale to form the current Municipality of Mossel Bay. Located halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, along the N2, the Municipality is bordered by neighbouring Municipalities of George, Langeberg and Oudtshoorn. The Municipalities main economic activities include fishing, agriculture, tourism, petrochemicals and light industry.”

  • Environmental Health
  • Information Technology
  • Social Development
  • Other municipal related fields

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

  • South African citizen
  • Residing within the Mossel Bay Municipality area
  • Studying or intend on studying full-time within one of the aforementioned fields of study
  • Studying or intend on studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa (SAQA accredited tertiary or TVET institution)
  • Household income of less than R15 000 per month
