How to apply to the Department of Transport Vacancies

The South African Department of Transport offers two ways to apply for vacancies.

HOW TO APPLY FOR DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT VACANCIES ONLINE:

• Go to the KZN online e-Recruitment system: https://www.eservices.gov.za/
• Click on “Login/Register”, and select “Register”
• Accept terms and continue
• Register using ID and personal information like name, contact, address, password, and verification details.
• Login with the username and password created when registering
• Select Employment and labour
• Select the service from the available services
• Select the “My Profile (Z83)” option within the screen on the left-hand side of the screen
• Update your profile with personal and educational information, language, references and attachments
• Select the “browse jobs” option with the menu on the left-hand side of the screen
• View Vacancy and apply.

HOW TO APPLY FOR DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT VACANCIES OFFLINE:

If an online application isn’t available, you can submit a hardcopy application.

• Download and complete the Z83 Application for Employment Form
• Prepare a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• Include certified copies of your Senior Certificate, academic qualifications, academic record, and ID.

Submit your application package (Z83 + CV + certified documents) to one of the following options:

• Deliver it in person to the Department of Transport, 159 Struben Street, Forum Building or any Government department.
• Email your Z83 and CV to the relevant department/entity’s email address (look for contact information on the vacancy posting).

IMPORTANT:

• Only use one application method (online or hardcopy).
• Incomplete applications or those without required documents will be disqualified.
• No contact within 2 months of the closing date means your application was unsuccessful.
