Notice: The minimum amount to be paid in percentage terms before a student can have access to register for the 2020-2024 academic year is as follows:
- 50% before registration for Semester/Modular 1
- 30% before registration for Semester/Modular 2
- Final 20% before the examination for Semester/Modular 2
Residential Registration
- 100% of the Semester/Modular fees
University of Ghana Banking Details
Student fee payment is integral to the registration process. Students must at least pay the minimum required, fees before they will be allowed to undertake the Academic and Residential registration.
Students Must Take Note of The Following when Making Payments:
- Only pay fees at the University of Ghana APPROVED BANKS (listed below).
- All deposits at the bank should be made with a FEE DEPOSIT SLIP.
- All deposits at the bank should be made with CASH ONLY.
- Always ensure the STUDENT INDEX NUMBER and NAMES are correctly quoted.
- Always ensure the AMOUNT quoted on the receipt is the correct amount paid.
- Ensure the account name is that of the UNIVERSITY OF GHANA.
- Keep Payments by CHEQUE (NO PERSONAL CHEQUES) can be made at the University’s Cash Office ONLY.

Foreign students paying through international transfer should ensure to pay all related charges. These will not be borne by the University.
University of Ghana Economic Policy Management (EPM) Students
Your tuition fee for the academic year as applicable is found below:
- Weekend Students – Twenty-two Thousand Ghana cedis (GH₵22,000.00)
- Day Students – Fifteen Thousand, Seven Hundred Ghana cedis (GH₵15,700)
- Scholarship Students – JJ/WBGSP terms
This amount can be paid in full or in two instalments as follows:
- Fifty per cent (50%) of this amount should be paid before the beginning of the Programme.
- The remaining Fifty per cent (50%) should be paid by January 31.
