The University of Venda’s Vacancies website carries new job positions that both South Africans and non-citizens can apply for.

Applying for a vacant post at the University of Venda is now done entirely through their online e-recruitment system.

Application For A Vacant Post at UniVen

The steps to properly apply for a vacancy at the University of Venda (UniVen) are listed below;

1. Check for available vacancies:

  • Head over to the University of Venda’s website: https://www.univen.ac.za/vacancies/
  • Click on the “Vacancies” tab in the main menu.
  • This will take you to a page listing all currently open positions.
  • Browse through the positions and find the one that interests you.

2. Create an account:

  • If you haven’t already, you’ll need to create an account on the e-recruitment system before applying.
  • Click on the “Create Account” button on the vacancies page.
  • Fill out the required information, including your name, email address, and password.
  • Once you’ve created your account, you can log in and start applying for positions.

3. Apply for the position:

  • Once you’ve found the position you’re interested in, click on the “Apply Now” button.
  • This will take you to an application form where you need to provide your details, qualifications, experience, and any other relevant information.
  • Be sure to carefully read the job description and requirements before applying, and tailor your application accordingly.
  • Upload your CV and any other required documents, such as certifications or transcripts.
  • Review your application thoroughly before submitting it.

Things to Keep in Mind:

  • The University of Venda no longer accepts hand-delivered, faxed, or emailed applications. All applications must be submitted through the online e-recruitment system.
  • You will need a South African ID number, cellphone number, email address, and credit/debit card with a CVV number to pay the R100 application fee online.
  • Due to the large number of applications they receive, the University of Venda does not acknowledge receipt of applications. If you don’t hear from them within two months of the closing date, assume your application was unsuccessful.
