RU Registration Requirement
- Your student number
- A copy of your official school results
- Evidence that your Initial Fee Payment (IF) has been cleared
- A copy of the deposit slip, if you have deposited money into the University account
- If you have been awarded a bursary or NSFAS, a copy of your letter of award
- School leavers: Your final NSC/ A level / HIGCSE results
- Transferring students: Your transcript from your previous university and course outlines
- International students: Proof of Initial Fee (IF) clearance, passport with a valid study visa, proof of your medical aid cover arranged through Simeka Health
Important Date: All new and returning students must register each year. Administrative registration for the 2024 academic year opened on January 22nd and closed on February 10th. Late registration fees apply after this date.

Registration is done online through the Rhodes Online Student System (ROSS). You will need your student number and password to log in.

- Once you accept, pay the initial fee to secure your place.
- Register through the ROSS system.
- Upload necessary documents like academic transcripts and ID.
- Participate in program-specific orientation.
