NMU Application Dates for Admission 2026
The management of the Nelson Mandela University (NMU) wishes to inform all Applicants that online registration for various programs for 2026 is now ongoing.
NMU Application Requirements
Things to note before applying online to NMU:
- You’ll need an email address to complete the application.
- Have you calculated your APS? You’ll need to do this before applying.
- South African applicants will need an ID number. Foreign applicants will need their passport number.
- Please note: Check out the list of full programs before you apply.
- Ensure that you have a valid cell phone number. The outcome of your application will be sent via SMS.
NMU Application Details
Prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students who wish to join Nelson Mandela University in 2026 are invited to apply during the late application period (16 August – 30 September) for a certificate, diploma or degree qualification by using our online application system.
In order to ensure adequate time for application, processing and planning by the university and yourself, applications for late admission in 2026 should be submitted by 30 September.
Applications will be considered until this date, provided that there is still space available in the course you wish to apply for and that you meet the admission requirements directly. In addition, places in some qualifications are limited, and it is, therefore, in your best interest to submit your online application form and ALL supporting documentation before 30 September.
