How to Change/Reset UL Student Portal Login Password

Resetting your University of Limpopo Student Portal login password can be done easily through the ULSpace platform.

Before anything, Users must note the following regulations guiding your password below.

• Brainstorm a shortlist of passwords that you will remember
• Never use a social security number as a Password because Hackers have become experts at decrypting social security numbers.
• Using a password with a mix of at least six mixed-case alphabetic characters is advisable.
• Avoid using easy-to-identify – and therefore easy-to-hack Password.

How to Change/Reset UL Student Portal Login Password

Here’s a guide on how to do it:

Option 1: If You Remember Your Username:

1. Go to the Forgot Password page: http://ulspace.ul.ac.za/password-login
2. Enter the email address you used when registering with ULSpace. This should be the same email address associated with your student account.
3. Click “Verify Email.”
4. You will receive an email with further instructions and a link to reset your password.
5. Click the link in the email and follow the prompts to set a new password.

Option 2: If You Don’t Remember Your Username:

1. Go to the Forgot Password page: http://ulspace.ul.ac.za/password-login
2. Click on “Forgot Username?” under the email field.
3. Enter your student ID number and date of birth in DDMMYY format (e.g., 080598 for May 8, 1998).
4. Click “Go.”
5. You will receive a message with your username sent to your student email address.
6. Once you have your username, follow the steps from Option 1 above to reset your password.

IMPORTANT:

• Make sure you’re using a trusted and secure internet connection when resetting your password.
• Choose a strong, unique password that you don’t use for any other accounts.
• Consider enabling two-factor authentication for added security.
