These are easy and reliable ways to find out the current status of your SASSA SRD grant below;
1. THROUGH THE OFFICIAL SASSA WEBSITE:
The first way to check your sasa status is through the official SASSA Website, see ways below:
- Visit the official SASSA SRD status check page: https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status.
- Enter your South African ID number and the phone number you used during your application.
- Click on the “Submit” button to view your application status.
2. THROUGH WHATSAPP:
- Save the SASSA WhatsApp number: 082 046 8553.
- Open WhatsApp and send a message saying “SASSA” to this number.
- Follow the prompts, providing your ID number when requested, to receive your application status.
3. THROUGH SMS:
- Open your phone’s messaging app.
- Send your ID number to SASSA’s official SMS: 082 046 8553.
- You will receive an SMS with your grant application status.
4. THROUGH PHONE CALL:
- Dial the SASSA toll-free helpline: 0800 60 10 11.
