NSFAS Applicants Must Submit A 2024 NSFAS Consent Form.
The NSFAS consent form is a document that students applying for financial aid from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) in South Africa must sign.
The form grants NSFAS permission to collect, process, and share the student’s personal information to assess their eligibility for financial aid and manage their funding.
The specific wording of the NSFAS consent form may vary depending on the year in which the student is applying for financial aid. However, the form will typically include the following sections:
- A statement of the purpose of the form
- A list of the types of personal information that NSFAS will collect
- A list of the third parties with whom NSFAS may share the student’s personal information
- The student’s right to access and correct their personal information
- The student’s right to withdraw their consent
The NSFAS consent form is an important document that students should read carefully before signing. Students should make sure that they understand the implications of signing the form and that they are comfortable with NSFAS collecting, processing, and sharing their personal information.
The 2024 NSFAS Consent Form consists of two parts:
The first part is the “Disclaimer and signature of the applicant” section. In this section, you will need to acknowledge that applying does not guarantee funding. You will also need to confirm that all the information you provide is accurate and that you understand the consequences of providing false information.
The second part is the “Declaration by a parent/guardian or school principal” section. This section must be completed by either your parent/guardian or your school principal. They will need to confirm that the information you have provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge.
