Applications for 2025 usually open in March/April 2024 and close in July/August 2024. However, some programs have earlier deadlines, like MBChB, BPharm & BRad closing in June 2024. Double-check the specific program you’re interested in on the SMU website.

- Application Deadline: July 31st, 2024 (for most programs)
- September 30th, 2024: Deadline for international applications and some specific programs

What About the Application Fee?
- There is a non-refundable application fee of R200.00.
- You can pay the application fee online or at any Absa bank branch.
- Be sure to keep your proof of payment, as you will need to upload it during the application process.

- You will receive an email confirmation once your application has been submitted.
