UniVen Application Requirements

Things to note before using the online application for the University of Venda:

1. You’ll need an email address to complete the application.
2. Have you calculated your APS?  You’ll need to do this before you apply.
3. Once you complete an online application you may not send a hardcopy application.
4. Make sure you complete the application in full (so that there’s no delay from UniVen).
5. Getting a UniVen student number does not mean you have been accepted.

How to Apply UniVen Online

The University of Venda Application 2025 application is ongoing, and the step-by-step guide on applying through the UniVen online application portal is available below.

1. Go to the UniVen website: https://www.univen.ac.za/students/student-support-services/how-to-apply/apply-online/
2. Click on “Apply” at the top right corner of the page.
3. Click on “New Applicant” and fill in the required information, including your name, email address, and password.
4. Choose your program, select “Undergraduate” or “Postgraduate” depending on your application type.
5. Then, under “Faculty/School,” choose “Management, Commerce and Law” and under “Programme,” select “Bachelor of Laws (LLB).”
6. Fill in all the required sections of the application form, including your personal information, contact details, academic qualifications, and work experience (if applicable).
7. Scan and upload certified copies of the following documents:
   • Matric certificate and transcripts
   • Birth certificate or ID document
   • Proof of SA citizenship status (if applicable)
   • Recent CV (optional)
8. The current application fee for South African applicants is R200. You can pay online using a credit or debit card.
9. Once you have reviewed and completed the application form, click on the “Submit” button.
   • Note: You will receive a confirmation email and reference number. Keep these for future reference.
10. You can track the status of your application online through the portal. Simply log in and click on “My Applications.”

IMPORTANT:

• Apply early! Applications are competitive, so submit your application as soon as possible.
• Meet all the required documents and application deadlines.
• Proofread your application carefully before submitting it.
