Warehouse Manager Job Description
Responsibilities
As a warehouse manager, you will need to:
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods
- Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods
- Make sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
- Have a clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
- Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems where necessary respond to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone
- Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
- Plan future capacity requirements
- Organise the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
- Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
- Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Brief team leaders on a daily basis
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in chemicals and food are stored safely
- Where appropriate, oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems

Administrative Secretary Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage calendars and meeting requests on behalf of the Managing Director to ensure meetings are updated in a timely manner and the status of meetings are provided regularly
- Compile documents, arrange complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries to facilitate the attendance of the Managing Director to travel-related meetings as needed
- Prepare the Managing Director’s responses to routine mamas, letters, or correspondence
- Compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports and other complex documents on behalf of the Managing Director
- Answer incoming calls, take messages, welcome visitors, and respond to routine inquiries for information.
- Attend meetings and provide secretarial support by preparing meeting minutes to distribute to attendees, including weekly staff meeting minutes
- Prepare thank-you notes, gifts, and other forms of communication
- Maintain confidentiality of all corporate, personnel, and research matters as well as, confidentiality regarding the Managing Director’s personal matters and finances and ensure the appropriate filing and distribution of such data
Qualification Required & Experience
Academic/ Professional Qualification & Experience:
- A minimum of a university degree in Administration or another related field
- A minimum of three (3) years relevant experience supporting a Managing Director or Chief Executive Officer Professional qualification in the related field is an added advantage

- Ability to communicate and liaise effectively and sensitively at all levels, both internally and externally
