For New Applicants Here’s a Breakdown:
If admitted, accept the offer and proceed to registration. This can be done online through the “iEnabler” portal or in person at the university.
For Returning Students Here’s a Breakdown:
- Confirm the registration dates for your program and semester on the SMU website or contact your faculty.
- Use the “iEnabler” portal to register for your courses. You will need your student ID and password to access the portal.
- Ensure you are cleared by all relevant departments, such as finance and library, before proceeding.
IMPORTANT:
You can also register in person at the designated registration venue on campus. Bring your student ID and other necessary documents.
International students have additional requirements and need clearance from the International Office before registering. Contact them at 012 521 5834 or eunice.modiba@smu.ac.za.
Be patient while SMU processes your registration. If you see that your registration will not be processed by the closing date for registrations, please visit your nearest SMU Online Assistance.
