As a prospective student understand that the Deadlines for course changes can vary depending on the semester and program. Know that you cannot change your course choices after the application deadline.
How to Change Your Course at UMP as a Current Student
There are generally two options for changing courses at the University of Mpumalanga: Internal transfer and Readmission.
- INTERNAL TRANSFER: This is for students who want to change to a different program within the same faculty. You will need to meet the admission requirements for the new program and have good academic standing in your current program. Deadlines and processes may vary between faculties, so it’s best to contact your faculty advisor for specific details.
- READMISSION: This is for students who want to change to a completely different program or have left UMP and want to return. You will need to meet the admission requirements for the new program and apply as a new student.
