The management of the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) has released the Application Criteria/Requirement for the Student of the institution.
The Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, KIMC Students applying to Undergraduates, Postgraduate, Diploma, Masters programs, etc must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for admission.

Entry Requirements for Diploma Courses
For KIMC examined diplomas a minimum of Grade C plain attained at the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) or equivalent is required. In addition, prospective applicants are expected to meet specific requirements for each of the courses offered.
For Kenya National Exanimation Council (KNEC) examined diploma a minimum of Grade C minus attained at the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) or equivalent is required. In addition, prospective applicants are expected to meet specific requirements for each of the courses as may be specified from time to time by the examining body.
Entry Requirements for Certificate Courses
For all KIMC certificates, a minimum of Grade C minus attained at the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) or equivalent is required. In addition, prospective applicants are expected to meet specific requirements for each of the courses offered.
