University of Pretoria Registration Dates 2025/2026

To ensure adequate time for application processing, and planning by the university and yourself, applications for early admission in 2025 should be as follows;

The University of Pretoria Registration Dates 2025/2026

The University of Pretoria (TUKS) has stated that they will be open and accepting online applications for the 2025/2026 academic year from;

Students can register online from 9 January 2025. You will only be able to register if you have paid and submitted your contract.

First-Year Students:

Online registration dates for first-year students are as follows;

• Pre-Orientation – 21 January 2025
• First-year Hybrid Orientation – 3 February 2025 to 7 February 2025
• Welcome Day – 1 February 2025
• Classes for quarter 1 and semester 1 start on – 10 February 2025

• Assisted Registration – Hillcrest Campus, 21 January 2025 to 7 February 2025

Current Students:

Current students are encouraged to register online at the UP Student Centre.

• Online Registration – 3 January 2025
• Assisted Registration – 21 January 2025 (Hillcrest Campus)
• Classes start – 10 February 2025

Postgraduate Students:

These are all the important dates for postgraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

• Online registration for honour’s students – 3 January 2025
• Online registration for master’s and doctorate – From 19 December 2024
• Assisted registration for honour’s students – 21 January 2025 (Hillcrest Campus)
• Assisted registration for master’s and doctorate – From 3 January 2025

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

All international students are advised to follow the above date depending on the programme or course of study they are interested in.

Always quote your student number when making payments, such as your registration fee.

Protect your student card, as this will give you access to all the UP campuses.

If you want to avoid long queues, complete the registration process online before your classes start.
