An exciting vacancy exists at the Airports Company ZA Corporate Office for an experienced Senior Legal Contracts Management within the Corporate Services Division.

Key Performance Output
The successful candidate, reporting to the Group Manager of Legal and Information Privacy will be responsible for the following:
- Research relevant standards, laws, regulations and applicable prescripts to ensure compliance.
- Implement relevant policies, processes, standards and controls for contract management.
- Review standard contracts frequently to ensure compliance with changes in corporate strategy, category strategies and legislative requirements.
- Support category managers and businesses with contract negotiations during supplier and commercial tendering
- Implement, monitor and ensure compliance with contract policies and procedures.
- Supervises the creation and sign-off of contracts.
- Upload and update contracts in the system
- Support the contract termination process and perform termination activities in the system
- Monitor and report contractor performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Serve as a point of contact and guide customers on contractual matters.
- Maintain contractual records and documentation.
- Communicate signed contracts to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility, awareness and interpretation to support implementation
- Monitor and report on contract compliance
- Identify, analyse and mitigate risks
- Ensure compliance with all legal, governance, policies, procedures, standards and sound business practices to meet business and operation management standards
- Ensure compliance with approved legislation (BBBEE) and transformation imperatives
- Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals.
- Implement remedial actions where required
- Compile, submit and present various reports
- Accountable for functional performance, within the agreed strategic framework and approved plans.
- Implement and manage people development processes such as performance management, succession planning and talent management to meet functional performance standards.
- Conduct workforce planning to ensure the function is suitably staffed to meet strategic functional objectives
Requirement
The following skills and experience, or the equivalent of such, will be required:
- Admitted Attorney with bachelor’s Degree (NQF 8) (4 years – 480 credits) Relevant (legal) is essential
- 6 years of experience in Contract Management (Operations) is essential
- 4 years in Contract Advisory (Management) is essential
- The ideal candidate must be a member of the Legal Practice Counsel.
