Apply Through Central Application Clearing House (CACH)
This national platform allows students who didn’t secure a place at any institution through the regular application process to search for available spots at other universities. You can apply through CACH by:
- Sending a standard-rate SMS with your name and ID number to 49200.
- Visiting the CACH website: https://www.eafinder.com/za/cach-online-application/
Contacting Relevant Departments Directly
For some specific postgraduate programs, particularly research-based ones, it might be worth contacting the Head of Department directly.
They might have some flexibility for exceptional cases, especially if you have a strong research proposal and relevant qualifications.
Consider Applying for DUT 2025 Intake
If none of the above options work out, you can always start preparing your application for the 2025 intake. This gives you ample time to gather all the necessary documents, polish your application, and research your chosen program thoroughly.
