How to sign NSFAS LAF or SOP

The management of the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has announced that students should sign their LAFs/SOP. Therefore, NSFAS will not process any tuition payments for students who have not signed their agreements.

To sign a Loan Agreement Forms (LAFs) and Schedules of Particulars (SOP), LAFs/ SOP, a student can simply visit the NSFAS website – www.nsfas.org.za, click of the SIGN YOUR LAF/SOP Link, then enters an ID number into the search engine. Then details will appear on the screen.

How to sign your SOP

Step 1

Sign Your SOP

NSFAS will send you an SMS or email to sign your Schedules of Particulars (SOP)

Step 2

Click on the link

enter your ID number to receive a One Time Pin (OTP) which will be sent to your cell phone through your registered number.

Step 3

Enter Your OTP to Continue with The Signing

When finished, you will receive a notification on the screen that the Terms and Conditions have been submitted. This means you have successfully signed your NSFAS bursary agreement. Your parent or legal guardian should sign for you if you are under the age of 18.

 ➡ Note that your registered cell phone number with NSFAS is very important, if missing, updated your NSFAS details with the current number.
