Academic Calendar and Upcoming Events 2025

UNISA WILL HOST GRADUATION CEREMONY:

In February 2025, UNISA will host a special graduation ceremony at the Muckleneuk Campus in Pretoria. This event is dedicated to honouring the graduates of 2020 and 2021 who were unable to attend in-person ceremonies due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

4TH UNILISA BIENNIAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE:

Scheduled from April 1 to 4, 2025, at the Muckleneuk Campus, this hybrid conference focuses on “Information Science for Futuristic Scholarship and Practice: Partnerships and Collaborations across Boundaries towards Society 5.0.”

INTERNATIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION TEACHING, LEARNING, AND STUDENT SUPPORT CONFERENCE:

Taking place from May 5 to 8, 2025, at the Kgorong Building, Muckleneuk Campus, this hybrid conference aims to revolutionize higher education by bringing together global educators, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners.

GOLF CHALLENGES 2025:

UNISA has organized several golf challenges throughout the year:

• Midlands Region: May 9, 2025, at Magalies Park Golf Course.
• KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Region: July 3, 2025, at Umhlali Golf Course.
• North Eastern Region and Waterberg District Municipality: August 15, 2025, at Euphoria Golf Course.
• Chancellor’s Gauteng Region: October 10, 2025, at Houghton Golf Course.
