What to Do Before Applying to The University of Ghana

Things to Consider Before Filing UG Application Form

  • If you are picking a form directly from the school, Do not dirty the form.
  • Carefully Read and Understand the Form.
  • Fill in with Capital Letters
  • Duly filled application forms should be addressed to the Registrar- academic Administration.
  • Always have a Photocopy in case needed
  • Take your time to review the Form before submission.

UG Core Requirements

  • Short-listed WASSSCE/SSSCE applicants into programmes at the College of Health Sciences must pass an interview and/or entrance examination.
  • Credit passes in English, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science & Social Studies
  • All interested applicants should register at any of the Learning Centres of the School of Continuing and Distance Education below, after payment into the following account: Account Name and number: (UG Learning Centre A/C, ECOBANK. A/C Number 0160134485305902).
  • An application should be accompanied by;
    • copies of ID/Passport
    • Relevant academic and professional certificates.
  • School of Medicine and Dentistry, Korle-Bu (Room 23) Fill and attach the following Documents:
    • Two recent endorsed passport-sized photographs,
    • Two endorsed Recommendation Letters from 2 Referees from a relevant Academic Institution,
    • Copy of Certificates (SHS & Degree),
    • Original Transcript,
    • A copy of 6 months bank statement (Include address) and Letter from Sponsor(s) undertaking to pay all fees showing detailed information of present work status
    • A Proof of online registration and NSS Certificates where applicable.

  • Go to the school website, or simply visit the school to pick a form.
  • Navigate to the Application portal
  • Read Carefully and fill in the required information as instructed.
  • Then Submitthe form online.
