The management of the Zetech University has released the Application Criteria/Requirement for the Student of the institution.
The Zetech University, Students applying to Undergraduates, Postgraduate, Diploma, Masters programs, etc must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for admission.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Management BBAM
Entry Requirements
• An aggregate grade of C+ (C Plus) in K.C.S.E and a minimum of grade C in mathematics and English. • Or Two principal passes in ‘A’ level/Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE). • Or be a holder of a diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
Bachelor of Purchasing and Supply Management BPSM
Entry requirements
- An aggregate grade of C+ (C plus) in K.C.S.E and a minimum of grade C in Mathematics and English. Or
- Two principal passes in ‘A’ level / Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE). Or
- be a holder of a Diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Duration of the programme This is a four-year programme sub-divided into semesters. Courses offered are weighted in terms of Credit Units.
Bachelor of Business Information and Technology BBIT
- An aggregate grade of C+ (C Plus) in K.C.S.E and a minimum of grade C in mathematics and English. • Or Two principal passes in ‘A’ level/Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) • Or be a holder of a diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology BSc. IT
Entry Requirements
- An aggregate grade of C+ (C Plus) in K.C.S.E and a minimum of grade C in mathematics and English. • Or Two principal passes in ‘A’ level/Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE). • Diploma in Management and Information Technology from a recognized institution.
Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management BHTM
KCSE or equivalent certificate with a minimum of C+, and a minimum of a C (plain) in any three of the following;
- Biology/Biological Sciences
- Chemistry/Physical Sciences/Physics/Mathematics
- English/Kiswahili/Foreign Language
- Home Science
or is a holder of diploma in a relevant discipline from an institution recognized by the University Senate
Or
- KACE Certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and one subsidiary Or
- A student registered in another University recognized by the University Senate may be allowed to transfer credit to the programm
Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management (Bsc. HSM) BSc.HSM
- An aggregate grade of C+ (C Plus) in K.C.S.E and a minimum of grade C in Biology and Chemistry and C in English/Kiswahili and Maths/Physics, or
- Be a holder of KACE with a minimum of two principal passes including Biology and Subsidiary pass in Chemistry, Maths/Physics, or
- Be a holder of either a Diploma (with a mean grade of C) in Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Public Health, Environmental Health, Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, Community Health, Human Nutrition, or the equivalent of any of these qualifications as approved by the University Senate, or,
- Be a holder of Higher Diploma (HND) in Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Public Health, Environmental Health, Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, Community Health, Human Nutrition, or the equivalent of any of these qualifications as approved by the University Senate and two years of work experience.
Bachelor of Accounting and Finance BAF
- An aggregate grade of C+ (C Plus) in K.C.S.E and a minimum of grade C+ in Mathematics and English,
- KNEC 3 years Diploma or its equivalent,
- Holder of an accredited diploma with a credit pass from an institution that is recognized by the University Senate
- Be a holder of KACE certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and one subsidiary pass, and a minimum of credit pass in Mathematics at KCE
Bachelor of Economics and Statistics BES
Minimum Entry requirements
- KCSE minimum grade C+ (plus)
- A minimum grade of C+ (plus) Mathematics and English
Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy BIRD
- Holder of KCSE certificate with a minimum aggregate of C+
- Minimum of C+ in English or Swahili and Either Geography, History, Social Studies, CRE, or Business Studies.
Bachelor of Arts in Education
- KCSE (or equivalent examination) certificate with a minimum of Aggregate KCSE means a grade of C+ and above or:
- A relevant KNEC diploma or it’s equivalent with a minimum of grade C+ in Mathematics and English
- Holder of an Accredited diploma with a credit pass from an institution that is recognized by the University Senate with a minimum grade of C+ in Mathematics and English
- Be a Holder of KACE certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and one subsidiary pass, and a minimum of credit pass in Mathematics and English at KCE
- Have a minimum of grade C+ in the two teaching subjects you wish to pursue
- Those taking Business studies as a teaching subject must have a minimum of grade C+ in Mathematics
